 Price to hire a personal climbing “Sherpa:” $2,600
Sometimes members wish to have extra help on the mountain by hiring a personal climbing “Sherpa.” Our talented climbing “Sherpas” are actually Tibetan climbers from around the Everest region. A personal “Sherpa” climbs and camps with you at all times and carries your personal belongings. He also helps with boiling water and making your meals on the mountain.
If you are thinking about this option let us know so we can find a “Sherpa” most suitable to your needs. We generally need to know one month before the climb (June 1st) by the latest.
If you do not hire a personal “Sherpa” then you are expected to carry your own personal equipment and food up the mountain. |
